Kiev attempted to attack Russian President Vladimir Putin's residence in the Novgorod region with 91 drones on Sunday evening, according to Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
There are no reports of casualties or damage.
According to the Russian news agency TASS, citing Lavrov, from Sunday night to Monday morning, Ukraine attacked the Russian president's presidential residence in the Novgorod region with 91 long-range drones.
"Such reckless actions will not go unpunished," Lavrov said, stressing that Russia will respond.
It is not clear whether Putin was at the residence at the time of the attack.
Meanwhile, Volodymyr Zelenskyy has reacted, saying that the accusations of Ukraine's attack on Vladimir Putin's official residence are false.
"These are lies," the Ukrainian president said.
Zelensky went on to say that Russia wants to undermine the progress made between Ukraine and the US in peace talks, while warning that Russia is preparing the ground to attack government buildings in Kiev.
