World leaders appear to be going to Israel themselves to see the war situation first hand. American President Joe Biden is expected to arrive there tomorrow, while German Chancellor Olaf Scholz went today. He was received by Foreign Minister Eli Cohen. The German chancellor will meet with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

"My trip to Israel is a visit to friends. Germany stands firmly on the side of Israel," the German chancellor wrote in X. Scholz's message was published in Hebrew, German and English.
