"There will be no ceasefire without the return of our hostages, we say this to both our enemies and our friends. We will continue until we defeat them," Netanyahu told Reuters at the Ramon air force base in southern Israel, echoing the government's stance.
Meanwhile, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken is on the next leg of his diplomatic tour of the Middle East with a trip to Ramallah to meet Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.
The pair discussed efforts to "restore calm and stability" to the West Bank, according to the US State Department.
Abbas also called for an "immediate ceasefire", echoing similar demands from Arab states.
This morning, the Hamas-run health ministry in Gaza said more than 30 people were killed in an Israeli air strike on the al-Maghazi refugee camp.
According to the UN, some 1.5 million have been displaced in Gaza, with more than 700,000 people sheltering in its facilities.
In an update, the IDF said its forces had hit "more than 2,500 terrorist targets" since the start of its ground operations in Gaza.
The Israeli military also said it would open a four-hour window for people in northern Gaza to move south.
