Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said his country's intelligence indicates that Russia is preparing another large-scale attack.
The head of state stated in his evening speech that the US, Europe and all of Ukraine's partners must understand how this discredits diplomatic talks.
"We also know that the Russians are preparing for a new attack - our intelligence shows this. Now the United States, Europe and all our partners must understand how this discredits diplomatic talks ," Zelensky said.
He stressed that when Russian attacks continue, it is difficult for people to feel that diplomacy is constructive and capable of delivering results.
"Anyone who truly wants peace should think about how to ensure that the Russians are preparing not for new massive attacks, but to end the war. The world has the power to make this happen."
"We just have to use that power, for the sake of peace. I thank everyone who approaches the situation in exactly this way ," said President Zelensky.
His statements come after on Wednesday, January 28, Russian forces bombed and carried out drone strikes in the Kamianske, Nikopol, Pavlohrad, Kryvyi Rih and Synelnykove districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
