French President Emmanuel Macron held a phone conversation with Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian. They discussed seven key demands in relations between the two countries and the situation in the Middle East.
Macron has called for the release of French hostages and a return to dialogue. The French president said that respecting the ceasefire in the Middle East would reduce tensions in the region.
The French leader stressed that he has invited Pezeshkian "to quickly return to the negotiating table to reach an agreement."
