Based on the videos distributed on the Internet, the number of victims is expected to increase, while there is still no official notification from Moscow regarding the reasons for the attack.
The perpetrators are known to have used automatic weapons and bombs which they threw inside the complex after the gun attack. Which explains the complex's involvement in the fire.

According to what the Russian news agency "Tass" announced, the area is surrounded by emergency and rapid intervention forces and is under strict security measures. Hundreds of citizens inside and outside the complex have been evacuated by the police.
" The evacuation of people is continuing ," the emergency services told the TASS news agency.
In his first reaction, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin ordered emergency teams to provide all necessary assistance to all victims, as he called the incident a terrible tragedy.
Also, the spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, called on the international community to condemn the "monstrous crime" at the concert hall near Moscow, Reuters reports.
Meanwhile, Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov issued a statement on the attacks, condemning the act and the brutality of the attack.
" I strongly condemn such acts of violence, brutality and recklessness against civilians ," said Kadyrov.

There is still no idea who may have carried out the attack, but the first suspicions were that it could be a form of revenge on the part of Ukraine. But this was rejected by the US. It was the spokesman for the National Security of the White House, John Kirby, who, in a reaction to the case, stated that there is no evidence that the attacks were carried out by Ukrainians.
"There is no indication at this time that Ukraine, or Ukrainians, are involved in the shooting... We are looking into it, but I would rule out any connection to Ukraine at this early hour ," he said.
The attacks come just days after the US embassy in Russia issued a security alert for US citizens. A few days ago, the Embassy said it is monitoring reports that extremists have imminent plans to target large gatherings in Moscow, including concerts.

However, it is still too early to talk precisely about who the perpetrators were. Moscow is currently under curfew and the competent authorities have launched an investigation and are trying to identify and catch the perpetrators./Pamphlet
