The former boss of Cosa Nostra, Matteo Messina Denaro, admitted to the prisoner ward of the L'Aquila hospital, has fallen into an irreversible coma. The former Cosa Nostra boss spent 30 years on the run, but on January 16 he was arrested by the Italian police, Corriere reports.

A few days ago, he declared in the media that he reconciled with his daughter, Lorenza Alagna, and gave her his last name, where the latter signed the notarial deed.
