NATO has launched a large-scale military exercise in northern Europe, which is expected to last about two weeks, in which more than 20,000 troops from 14 countries participate.
Immediately after that, President Vladimir Putin gave a statement, referring to military exercises by NATO.
"Russia has more friends in the world than enemies," Putin said in a meeting with Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.
The mayor of Moscow said that the situation in the capital is good and the results of 2023 in Moscow are "one of the best in modern history".
The Russian leader said that the threats they are trying to create in Russia are not empty after all, and we should take this into account, both at the federal and regional levels.
