Elon Musk, the billionaire who heads the department that cuts public spending in Donald Trump's second administration as US President, has issued a dire warning about what could happen in Europe.
Addressing Matteo Salvini's Lega party in Italy with a message, Musk, as guest of honor, said that mass immigration is "crazy and will lead to the destruction of any country that allows it."
He warned that "such countries will cease to exist," while emphasizing that this is a very difficult situation. According to him, a country is not made up of geography, but of the people who live there.
"We see a huge increase in the number of attacks in Italy and Europe, the media tries to reduce the number of terrorist attacks, but the killing of people is more and more frequent and eventually in Europe we will see mass attacks, mass massacres. If we look at the trend then this will happen. This will lead to a real massacre for your families," Musk said.
The billionaire also spoke about the tariffs imposed by the Trump administration on Europe. "I hope that in the future we move to a 'zero tariff' situation, with a free trade area between Europe and North America. That's my hope for the future. And also more freedom to move between Europe and North America. Anyone who wants to work in North America, anyone who wants to work in Europe, so the president, in my opinion, should be able to do that," he added.
