Young, blond, with Slavic good looks and taller than his father, he is a cult figure with MAGA devotees talking about his "aristocratic reach".
This year, when he made a rare first appearance at a campaign rally, his father suggested that the other boys watch out for the competition he represents.
This year at Mar-a-Lago, Barron and his mother were the chosen First Family, first on stage with the president-elect.
Barron was singled out for thanks from his father. The young male voters that Barron led his father to win did indeed make a significant contribution to the overall Republican victory.

In a live broadcast with two of the other WLF founders, Chase Herro and Zachary Folkman, Trump commented: “Barron knows a lot about this. Barron is a young guy, but he knows it. He talks about his wallet.”
The Barron name, with its aristocratic overtones, has long appealed to Trump.
When he was making his way as a businessman, Trump would routinely call reporters claiming to be "John Barron," a colleague of Trump's, who would then go on to praise Trump's various enterprises.
Then he named his son Barron.
Barron seems to share the family's love of money-making schemes, but it's not yet clear that this dim-witted, well-mannered young man has political ambitions. Those who know Barron say he is quiet, gentle and considerate.
Barron went to three high schools while his father moved around the US. He just started as a student at New York University's Stern School of Business. When other students teased him by asking how he voted, he refused to say he was a Republican.
Melania posted a photo of her son in the voting room with the caption "Voted for his dad for the first time".
