"If one leader leaves, another will come," the last words of the Hamas leader shortly before he was killed

The leader of Hamasir, Ismail Haniyeh was killed a few days ago while staying in a residence in Tehran, after attending the swearing in of the new president of Iran.

The media have revealed Haniyeh's last words, spoken in public, shortly before he was killed.

Speaking to Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, he quoted a Quranic verse about life, death, immortality and permanence.

"It is Allah who gives life and causes death and Allah is All-Knowing of all actions...If one leader leaves, another will emerge," Haniyeh said in Arabic.
