A day after Israel's attack on Doha, Benjamin Netanyahu issued a stern warning to Qatar and all countries that "provide shelter to terrorists."
In his speech, Netanyahu linked the September 11, 2001 attacks on the US to the October 7, 2023 attack on Israel, stating that these were the greatest massacres suffered by the United States and the Jewish people, respectively.
"What did America do after 9/11? It promised to hunt down terrorists wherever they were, and the UN Security Council decided that no government can provide sanctuary to terrorists," he said.
Netanyahu stressed that Israel acted similarly yesterday in Qatar, which, as he said, "provides safe haven and funding to Hamas, offering its leaders villas and privileges."
"We did exactly what America did when it hit al-Qaeda in Afghanistan and when it killed Osama bin Laden in Pakistan," he added, criticizing the international community for its condemnation of Israel.
The Israeli prime minister accused the international community of hypocrisy in condemning the Israeli operation against Hamas officials in Qatar, stressing that "they should applaud Israel, just as they applauded America for eliminating Osama bin Laden."
"I say to Qatar and all the states that provide shelter to terrorists: either expel them or bring them to justice. Because if you don't, we will," he concluded.
