
The members of the Serbian community in Kosovo, have left for Serbia since the early hours of Sunday, to exercise their right to vote in the parliamentary elections.
Buses with workers, mostly employed in Serbian institutions in Kosovo, will leave every hour for Serbia.
In addition to them, there are Serbian residents who are organized to travel with private cars.
At the border points between Kosovo and Serbia - Jarinje, Bërnjak and Merdare - long queues have been reported.
Kosovo Serb residents will be able to vote in four cities of Serbia - Kurshumli, Raskë, Tutin and Vranje - as the Government of Kosovo has not allowed the opening of polling stations in municipalities with Serbian majority in Kosovo.
They are organized in this way also in the parliamentary and presidential elections of Serbia, on April 3, 2022.
The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has requested that the official Belgrade initiate a direct request to the official Pristina for the organization of elections, and not that the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) be a mediator in Kosovo.
