WHO condemns the attack on the Gaza hospital: Civilians should be protected and the evacuation order canceled

The director-general of the World Health Organization has condemned Israel's deadly attack on the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza.

In a post on the 'X' platform, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus called for "immediate protection of civilians" and for "Israel's evacuation orders to be rescinded".

"The WHO strongly condemns the attack on the Al Ahli Arab hospital in northern Gaza. Initial reports indicate hundreds of dead and injured. We call for immediate civilian protection and health care and to cancel the evacuation orders ," he wrote.

We recall that in an attack that happened a few hours ago in a hospital in Gaza, more than 500 people were killed and several others were injured.
