A citizen of Crimea who fired a grenade launcher at Ukrainian troops has been captured by the Ukrainian intelligence service (SBU).
He was arrested during a clash near the village of Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region in the spring, the SBU said.
The young man, who was born in Crimea, joined the 810th Brigade of the Russian Navy late last year and "fired directly at Ukrainian troop positions with a machine gun and a hand-held anti-tank grenade launcher," according to the SBU.
He faces up to life in prison if convicted at trial.
