Pakistan rejects India's accusations: We have not violated the ceasefire

Pakistan has rejected India's accusations that it violated the ceasefire agreement announced on Saturday, May 10, calling them "baseless" and an attempt to destabilize peace efforts in the region.

The statement comes after recent tensions in Kashmir, where both sides have exchanged accusations of attacks that risk disrupting an internationally brokered ceasefire.

In an interview with Pakistani media outlet Geo News, Pakistan's Information Minister, Attaullah Tarar, said that the Pakistani army has fully respected the ceasefire agreement and that there have been no violations on their part.

" India is trying to create a false narrative to divert attention from its aggression in Kashmir, " Tarar said. He added that Pakistan remains committed to peace and has asked the international community to investigate India's claims.

The minister stressed that reports of attacks in Srinagar and Jammu, which India attributed to Pakistan, are "staged provocations" to justify further military action by India. He called on international media and independent organizations to verify the facts on the ground.
