With a 'flaming red' cover, Time magazine has commented on Joe Biden's withdrawal from the race for the presidency and the candidacy of Kamala Harris.
The photo shows the former president as he leaves, where his image is barely visible, while vice-president Harris is enough, that more and more Democrats are already gathering around her.
They also draw attention to the cover made in June, where Bide appears, and where "panic" is written. Now, the panic still remains among the Democrats, however, it remains to be seen how their election campaign will go for a Donald Trump, who has won quite a few points since their failed assassination attempt.
Meanwhile, the American Vice President, Kamala Harris, has said that she is honored to have the support of the current president, Joe Biden, to enter the presidential race in November and that she aims for victory. "I will do everything I can to unite the Democratic Party - for unite our nation — to defeat Donald Trump and his extreme Project 2025 agenda," Harris said in a statement.
"We have 107 days until election day. Together we will fight. And together we will win", she added.
She made this statement shortly after Biden said he believes his withdrawal from the race is in the best interest of the United States.
This decision comes after growing calls for Biden's removal from the race for the November elections, especially after a debate he had with the Republican candidate for president, Donald Trump, in which he did not perform well.
"It has been the greatest honor of my life to serve as president," said Biden, warning that he will speak more during the week regarding this decision.
