Journalist Rid Berisha has analyzed the clash between Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani and Prime Minister Kurti regarding the letter about the association that the Kosovo government sent to the Council of Europe, without consulting the president.
Berisha said that the Kurti-Osmani war is a war for the throne, who will be the first to lead the country.
He added that since Kosovo will go into an electoral year, this clash will come and intensify to get public attention.
" It is a "Game of Thrones" battle, a battle for the first and for the protagonist in this process, Kurti himself does not feel the weight of factoring as Mrs. Osmani manifests beyond her role that is seen by the international community as a path for communicated with a serious address in Pristina. But Mr. Kurti is the main address with which the international community must coordinate. There were sparks between them and earlier which were not observed, as in the issue of the draft association statute, she asked Kosovo to write the draft before Kurti accepted the draft of the municipalities with a Serbian majority. Looks like Kurt didn't hear him.
There was also a clash when Osmani declared that the association must be sent to the Constitutional Court at all costs. So the president has given some signals about the questions she has about this process. But since we are in an election year, it seems that she is probably trying to get public attention while the country is trying to enter the elections ", he said in Euronews Albania.
