Minister Darko Glisic, who was a guest on Pink Television's morning program, suffered a stroke while in the show's studio.
The Serbian minister's health condition appears serious, Serbian media report.
Minister of Public Investments Darko Glisic was unable to complete his guest appearance, so the program was interrupted.
According to Belgrade media, Darko Glisic has been taken to the hospital, where President Vučić has also arrived. Glisic is considered President Vučić's most loyal and closest ally.
Glisic is the president of IO SNS and one of the founders of this party.
Health Minister Zlatibor Lončar, speaking from the Clinical Center of Serbia, revealed that Minister Glisic is in a very serious condition.
"He fell ill during the TV show, they brought him unconscious, the diagnosis is in progress, therapy is also included. What the medicine can do will be done, we are all worried, the president has been there from the first minute, all this has affected us, but we hope for the success of the therapy and the measures that have been taken and will be taken, what is known now is that he is in serious condition. What is important is that he arrived in time from the event, so the stroke, the first hours are crucial", said Loncar.
Reports indicate that the surgery that Minister Glisic underwent has been completed and that the next 24 hours are crucial for his condition.
