Venezuelan President Accuses Albanian Mafia in Ecuador: They Tried to Sabotage

During an extraordinary press conference, Maduro declared that the Albanian mafia that rules Ecuador has sent mercenaries to plant bombs in Venezuelan territory.

In a shocking statement with harsh tones, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has publicly accused the Albanian mafia operating in Ecuador of involvement in a terrorist plot aimed at destabilizing the May 25 elections in Venezuela.

During an extraordinary press conference, Maduro declared that the Albanian mafia that rules Ecuador has sent mercenaries to plant bombs in Venezuelan territory.

He called the perpetrators "contracted terrorists," emphasizing that they were caught by authorities before they could take action.

"In the face of threats that have also been denounced by our colleague José Cavejo, I am telling you that 38 new mercenaries have been arrested. The Albanian mafia that controls the Ecuadorian government has sent some of its mercenaries – trained – to plant bombs in Venezuela. They have been caught ," said Manduro.

Maduro accused the United States, Colombia and Ecuador of sending the "Albanian mafia" to Venezuela to plant explosive devices and prevent the proper conduct of the elections, Venezuelan media wrote.

" The Albanian mafia in Ecuador, Albanians involved in drug trafficking in Colombia, and those linked to Daniel Noboa in Ecuador. Why exactly these? Because Erik Prince is also there. And if it is Erik Prince – then it is also the American empire. They are behind everything. We know what is happening. And we know how to act – with perfect unity between civil society, the army and the police ," the Venezuelan president added.

On May 19, President Nicolas Maduro denounced the dismantling in Venezuela of a sabotage plot against the May 25 elections linked to the Albanian mafia, Daniel Noboa in Ecuador and Erik Prince in the United States.

In statements, the Venezuelan Interior Minister ordered the suspension of flights from Colombia to Venezuela, claiming that these connections are used by "mercenaries" to enter Venezuela for terrorist purposes.

He stated that 38 people, including 17 foreigners, who came from other countries but “used” flights from Colombia to enter Venezuela have been detained. Regarding Albania, he said only that an Albanian man with Colombian citizenship was recently arrested at the airport.

Cabello showed a photo of the man, identified as Enit Kasmi, who, according to the minister, is wanted internationally for drug trafficking, although Cabello said such a request does not appear in Colombian records.
