The businessman Kristos Jalia, who was killed today in Greece, turns out to be an accomplice of the Albanian Thimi Drobonik aka Thimi Prifti, 56 years old, from Berat, executed with a gun in the "Palio Faliro" of Athens on November 31, 2023 by unidentified persons.
It is learned that the businessman executed today supplied Drobonik with cigarettes. The latter has criminal records in Greece for cigarette smuggling and drug issues.
The police suspect that the two murders may be related to each other. Besides that, the businessman executed today, turns out to have employed many Albanians, even his guards were Albanians. His wife, an Albanian, was executed a few years ago.
It is suspected that the murders are happening for the smuggling of cigarettes, as the murders of the main exponents of the Greek mafia have been happening in recent years, for the same reason. After these murders, perpetrators from Eastern Europe and Albania were discovered.
The Greek businessman supplied Drobonik with cigarettes through his cousin, a Greek woman. Afterwards, Dobroniku from Berat sold them. The murdered businessman employed 4,000 workers. In fact, the Greek also brought containers from Latin America, but there is no indication of cocaine.
