After the US president called his Russian counterpart "son of a bitch", the reaction of the Kremlin, through his spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, was immediate.
Peskov says that Biden with such vocabulary humiliates America itself.
"Has Mr. Putin used a single harsh word to address you? This never happened. Therefore, I think that such a dictionary humiliates America itself".
He then called it a "feeble attempt" to sound like a "Hollywood cowboy", and added: "This is a disgrace to the country itself, I mean the United States."
US President Joe Biden called Russian President Vladimir Putin a "crazy son of a bitch" while in San Francisco, California, at a campaign fundraiser.
"This is the last existential threat," he said, "we have a son of a bitch like Putin and others, and we always find ourselves worried about nuclear conflict, but the existential threat to humanity is the climate."
The Kremlin responded by saying this is one of the "degrading ways of Hollywood cowboys," according to La Repubblica.
It's not the first time Biden has used harsh words in public. In January of two years ago, he criticized a Fox News reporter who follows events in the White House.
In general, the president tends to go out of line in his public speeches, while in some cases there are also strange blunders on his part.
He previously blamed the Republican Party and Israel for the bombing of the Gaza Strip.
We remind you that the White House is ready to resume a series of new sanctions against Russia, which will start from Friday, on the eve of the second anniversary of the invasion of Ukraine by Russian military forces.
