US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken will visit Turkey on Sunday, November 5 to discuss the troubled situation of the Israel-Hamas conflict, Turkish diplomatic sources report.
On Friday, the American secretary will visit Israel, always in the context of the crisis in the Middle East, and after the visit there he will go to Turkey.
During his previous tour of the Middle East, after the outbreak of the crisis, Blinken had visited many of the countries in the region, but not Turkey.
But the comments of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Turkey's stance towards the Israeli intervention in Gaza seem to have worried the US, which fears an expansion of the conflict in the region.
