NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg, during a conference held today, said that Russia should not be underestimated and aid to Ukraine should continue despite Wagner's revolt.
The head of NATO and the prime ministers of several member countries met today in the Netherlands, where they discussed the Wagner uprising and the situation in Ukraine. Prime Minister Rama was also present.
At the press conference, Stoltenberg said that they will agree on a program for air defense of Ukraine.
"Putin's war has created new divisions and tensions in Russia. At the same time we must underestimate Russia, we must continue to provide Ukraine with our support. The summit in a few weeks will give a clear message of our commitment. Ukrainian forces are conducting a counteroffensive. The fight is hard, but they are making progress. The more territories they release, the stronger our hand will be at the negotiating table. We will agree on a program for air defense of Ukraine. We discussed steps to increase NATO's defense," Stoltenberg said.
