The uprising of the Wagner Group and the subsequent cancellation of plans by the group's leader, Yevgeny Prigozhin, has been in focus in recent days.
An image that for many experts and high officials from different countries is a sign of "weakness" manifested by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The group, founded by Dmitri Utkin and now led by Prigozhin, had various disagreements and tensions with the Russian military and the Kremlin over the lack of military aid on the battlefront.
Despite all this, the paramilitary organization has played a key role in reaching various territories for Russian troops stationed in Ukraine, such as the city of Bakhmut. Now, a report published by Logically has revealed that the group often launches recruitment campaigns to increase its power.
One of the most surprising aspects is the conditions offered to applicants, including the salary offered, which amounts to 240,000 rubles per month, the equivalent of 2,700 euros.
An amount to which bonuses can be added based on achievements.
Among the various incentives that the organization usually offers, some stand out, such as life insurance. According to data released by the United Kingdom's intelligence services in January, about 50,000 fighters belonged to the organization. From London they pointed out in early 2023 that around 20,000 died in the fighting.
