
Residents of a small town in England are shocked by the death of a 12-year-old girl who was found sexually abused and strangled on a town street.
The horrific crime took place on July 22 in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, and police announced today that they had arrested two suspects for the kidnapping, abuse and murder of the girl.
23-year-old Ahmad Mulahil is accused of raping the underage girl.
A second man, Mohammed Kabir, also 23, is accused of complicity in the rape, as well as the drowning and kidnapping of the girl.
Police did not provide further information about the case, nor the identities of the two suspects.
The two defendants will appear at Warwick Magistrates' Court on August 26 and will remain in custody until then.
