The Pentagon has announced that an American warship has been attacked in the Red Sea. Al Jazeera also reports that several other commercial ships have also fallen prey to attacks. Apparently, the resumption of the war from Gaza has escalated tensions in the Middle East.
A short time ago the United Kingdom's Merchant Marine Operations agency said it had received reports of a drone attack in the Red Sea's Bab al-Mandab Strait. The Pentagon also announced another attack on ships by Yemen's Houthis.
The Pentagon said the drones were of Yemen origin, and urged ships in the area to be cautious.
Tensions are rising even more in Arab countries after the end of the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. The entire Arab world has called for a ceasefire and the parties are working tirelessly to reach an agreement, as there is an increase in the spread of conflict in the region.
