"North Korean troops fought bravely in the Kursk Region, as if defending their homeland ," Russian Security Council Secretary Sergey Shoigu told reporters after the 13th International Meeting of Senior Security Representatives.
No longer hiding the fact that troops from North Korea have been involved in the conflict, Shoigu said they had provided great assistance.
" They fought for the liberation of our land, as for the liberation of their land," he said, adding that at the meeting he had again thanked his colleagues from the DPRK for their help in the liberation of the Kursk Region.
On April 26, the Chief of the General Staff of Russia, Valery Gerasimov, during a report to Russian President Vladimir Putin on the complete liberation of the Kursk Region by the Ukrainian army, noted the role of North Korean soldiers.
