Powerful explosion in Turkey, around 20 people are injured (Video)

A strong explosion occurred at a pasta factory in Sakarya, Turkey, injuring at least 21 people.

The governor of Sakarya, Yasar Karadeniz, announced that during the explosion at the factory, a total of 21 people were injured, two of whom are in serious condition.

The mayor of the municipality, Yusuf Alemdar, said that the explosion was strong and probably came from the warehouse, adding that there is no residential area around the factory.

The injured have been sent to nearby hospitals to receive medical treatment, while the fire brigade continues its efforts to bring the fire under control.

It is learned that the explosion occurred in the section of the mill. The Minister of Justice, Yilmaz Tundz, said that an investigation has been launched to determine the causes of the explosion and the person responsible.
