Eight armed men dressed as commandos blocked the state road 131, in the province of Sassari in Italy, and robbed a van that was transporting money.
These are the moments when two of them approach armed cars and ask the drivers to get off. According to the Italian media, shots were fired during the robbery, while one of the security guards was wounded in the leg, while three others received injuries after being raped.
The robbers were also involved in an exchange of fire with the police, while it is reported that one of them was injured. To stop the armored van, the robbers, according to Ansas, used a large chain with nails which they opened on the road, as well as two other cars which were then set on fire, blocking traffic on this road.
They were able to leave quickly while numerous police forces and carabinieri were deployed in their pursuit. Meanwhile, numerous patrols have been set up in all axes, while helicopter flights are being carried out.
The injured were sent to the hospital where they are out of danger. The amount of money the robbers took from the van is still unknown.
