Eight citizens of Kosovo, who sought help at the Embassy of Kosovo in Jerusalem, have left the territory of Israel, announced the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora.
"Meanwhile, the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo has notified seven more citizens with whom the Embassy is in constant communication to offer solutions. Those notified are safe and in good health," the Ministry of Justice told REL.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, from the information so far, it is not reported that any citizen of Kosovo has been killed or injured during the ongoing clashes between the Israeli forces and the Palestinian militants of Hamas.
Hamas militants launched a surprise attack on October 7 against Israel. The latter retaliated with airstrikes in the Gaza Strip.
So far it has been reported that over 700 people in Israel have been killed, while at least 560 casualties have been reported in Gaza.
A day earlier, the authorities in Albania announced that 40 Albanians, among them two citizens of Kosovo, were evacuated from Israel.
