Following reports of gunshots, numerous police forces and emergency teams immediately arrived at the scene. Authorities confirmed the victims, while about 20 other people are reported injured.

The Ministry of Justice announced that an investigation into the incident has been immediately opened, while several prosecutors are engaged in fully clarifying the circumstances. Due to the sensitivity of the case, a publication ban has been imposed on details of the investigation.
Meanwhile, several Turkish government ministers have headed to the area to closely monitor the situation and coordinate the institutional response.
We recall that another armed attack on a school occurred yesterday in southern Turkey, where a person entered a high school and injured dozens of people.
According to local media, at least 16 people were injured in yesterday's shooting, including students.
According to Turkish media, the suspected perpetrator of yesterday's attack is a 19-year-old, identified as Ömer Ket, who is suspected to have been a former student at the school. He used a shotgun and was neutralized by law enforcement.
