This afternoon, a serious incident was recorded in the western city of Poland, Szczecin, where a person drove past pedestrians who were crossing the city center.
Polish officials said there were about 15 injured, some of them seriously, when a car plowed into passers-by in the city center.
Media in the northwestern city of Szczecin, the center of Zachodniopomorskie province, said rescue operations were continuing urgently to take the injured to hospitals. They added that in the serious incident in Rodla Square, there were children among the injured.

The website of the Polish fire brigade wrote that the author had initially tried to leave with his vehicle, but then collided with another vehicle and was stopped by members of the public.
Footage from the scene showed numerous emergency vehicles at the scene of the accident, crashed vehicles and traffic jams.

Local MP Piotr Sobolewski wrote that the incident had stopped traffic in the city. Reports of the shocking incident said the driver hit a group of people, leaving bystanders lying on the ground as he continued on his way.
