The French minister comes out against Macron: We will not die for Ukraine, no
Stephane Sejourne and Volodymyr Zelensky

COMBAT units of the French army will not appear in Ukraine, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic, Stephane Sejourne, told the France Inter radio station.

'The French will not die for Ukraine. We will not send troops to conduct combat operations, because the framework has been created, that is, to prevent the victory of Russia without a war with Russia. And in this context, nothing is excluded, as the president said."

This is how the head of foreign affairs of France answered the question of a radio listener if Emmanuel Macron remembers that the French chose him as president, not Vladimir Zelenskyn,

The minister added that "no one wants to send their children to die for Ukraine".

The Foreign Minister said that Paris's efforts were aimed at avoiding war and not at causing anxiety among the French.

Meanwhile, French President Emmanuel Macron confirmed yesterday that he proposed sending Western troops to Ukraine deliberately, stressing that he "weighed" his words and "thought them through".

"These are very serious topics. My every word on this matter is weighed, thought out and calculated," he told reporters during a visit to the future Olympic village on the outskirts of Paris.

At the same time, the French head of state refrained from any "geopolitical comments" in this regard, calling against mixing the Ukraine issue with other topics.

"Sports should contribute to peace and tranquility," he added.

French President Emmanuel Macron proposed on February 26 that at a meeting in Paris, where representatives of about 20 Western countries discussed further support for Ukraine in the conflict with Russia, the possibility of sending ground troops of Western countries to Ukraine.

He emphasized that no consensus has been reached, but such a scenario cannot be ruled out in the future. After the conference, representatives of most of the participating countries said that they had no intention of sending troops to Ukraine and were against their participation in military operations against Russia./ Pamphlet
