The Russian opposition leader died in an Arctic prison where he had been held on politically motivated charges.
Few details have been released about the cause of his death, and officials say he collapsed after going for a walk.
His wife claims he was killed on the orders of President Vladimir Putin.
The Kremlin has nothing to say to Navalny's family on the day of his funeral.
This was stated by the spokesman of the Russian presidential headquarters, Dmitry Peskov. Peskov also refused to give any assessment of Navalny's political figure. Earlier, the Kremlin spokesman recalled that unauthorized meetings to commemorate the Russian opponent represent a violation of the law.
