The newly elected President Donald Trump has reacted to the serious event in New Orleans. A person drove a pickup truck into a crowd, leaving behind 10 victims and over 30 injured.
"Our hearts go out to all the innocent victims and their loved ones, including the brave officers of the New Orleans Police Department. The Trump Administration will fully support the city of New Orleans as they investigate and recover from this act of of evil ," Trump said in a post on Social Truth.
Trump also talked about the crime rate in the US, who said that the criminals coming are much worse than the criminals we have in our country. He added that crime in the country is at high levels.
“When I said that the criminals coming in are far worse than the criminals we have in our country, that statement was repeatedly debunked by Democrats and the fake news media, but it turned out to be true. The level of crime in our country is at a level that no one has seen before ," said the president.
