New documents related to Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP), or UFOs, were released today by the US Department of Defense.
According to a statement by Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell, the materials were made public "under the Presidential System for Declassification and Reporting of UFO Encounters (PURSUE)."
The collection of documents has been posted on the official website of the US Department of Defense, while, according to the American spokesperson, additional documents will be published on an ongoing basis.
Since the site was launched on May 8, 2026, the platform has recorded over 1 billion visits from around the world, demonstrating the extraordinary public interest in unidentified aerial phenomena.
“The Department of Defense and partner agencies are actively working on the release of the third package of UAP files, which will be announced in the near future,” Parnell’s statement concluded.
Below are some of the published materials:
August 2022, Iran
Included among the documents is a video titled: “4 UAP Formation Iran 26 Aug 2022 over water [CALLSIGN]” (“Four Unidentified Aerial Phenomena over Water in Iran, August 26, 2022”).
The video was recorded by an infrared sensor located on a US military platform, which operated in the US Central Command area of responsibility during 2022.

The material was uploaded by a user to a classified network in June 2024.
Sudden acceleration of an unexplained object in Syria
Another video in the file appears to have been recorded in Syria.

The government site now has fresh military UAP videos: the Syria instant-acceleration clip, formations over CENTCOM, over-water UAP/USO footage, Afghanistan cloud footage, and a near-submarine case.

In it, a sensor tracks an object that suddenly disappears from view. The rest of the video, about five minutes long, shows the moment in slow motion, with the image zoomed in and enhanced.

In another video, dated October 15, 2022, an object is seen moving across the screen from left to right. The video is only 21 seconds long.

One object crosses the infrared field from left to right. The clip is only 21 seconds, but the upload replays the transit twice at slower speeds because that crossing is the event. pic.twitter.com/FqLZnluzL4
August 2022
In the following video, a sensor repeatedly tries to track a spherical object as it appears and disappears from view. The US Department of Defense has called the video “unsteady motion.”

The story here is pursuit. The sensor keeps trying to track a spherical object as it moves in and out of frame. The government title calls it erratic movement. pic.twitter.com/D1w98gJLL0
Afghanistan, November 2020
Another video, recorded in Afghanistan in November 2020, shows a spherical object near the top left corner of the screen, which moves across the scene and then disappears into the background.
The video presents the trajectory of the object with magnification, improved clarity, slow motion, tracking the object, and then in its original form.

Spherical object pulsating above water
A video lasting about three minutes shows a spherical object pulsating above the surface of the water.
Neither the time nor the location where the video was recorded is known.

Multiple spherical objects near a submarine
A video lasting about four and a half minutes, dated March 25, 2022, shows several spherical objects near a submarine, which enter and exit the water.
