Iranian presidential spokesman for communications Mehdi Tabatabaei has dismissed claims of discord within Iran's leadership, calling them "lies" and part of "political propaganda."
The reaction comes a day after the US president declared he would extend the ceasefire to give a "divided" Iran time to present a unified stance.
Without directly mentioning the US president, Tabatabaei said the "enemy" is spreading false narratives and stressed that the unity within the Iranian leadership is "unprecedented and exemplary."
"Instead of spinning lies, they should stop breaking promises, bullying and cheating. The door to negotiations based on justice, dignity and rationality remains open," he wrote on the X platform.
