The possibility of resuming peace talks between the United States and Iran remains open and could materialize very soon. According to the New York Post, a new round of negotiations could begin as early as Friday.
The newspaper cites a message from US President Donald Trump, as well as sources from Pakistan, according to which "good news" about a second meeting could come within this week.
According to the report, sources in Islamabad have highlighted positive mediation efforts with Tehran, leaving open the possibility of new talks taking place within the next 36 to 72 hours.
Asked by the New York Post about this possible development, Trump responded briefly via a message: "It's possible! President DJT."
