Donald Trump continues to deepen his victory over Kamala Harris. Trump has also managed to win Michigan, scoring another victory in one of the seven states that were considered swing states.
With more than 99% of the vote counted in Michigan, Trump leads Harris by 1.5 percentage points.

Joe Biden won Michigan with 50.6% of the vote in 2020 and Trump took 47.8%. Therefore, Trump has improved his position by almost 2%, from the last election.
A Trump victory in Michigan would mean the state has again voted the same way as Wisconsin and Pennsylvania — as it has in every presidential election since 1992.
Two swing states still remain — Nevada and Arizona — though that won't change the overall result. Trump currently has 291 electoral college votes, easily surpassing the 270-vote threshold needed to win. This could also increase if he wins other states where counting is ongoing.
