A senior Russian general, along with 500 North Korean soldiers, have been killed by British Storm Shadow missiles during a recent strike on Russian soil.
The attack launched by Ukraine eliminated General Valery Solodchuk and also resulted in 18 Putin officers reported missing and another 18 wounded.
Earlier, it was reported that a general of Kim Jong-un was wounded during the attack, while he commanded the troops supporting the aggression in Ukraine.
The attack carried out by Ukraine marked the first time that the UK's Storm Shadow missiles were used against targets deep inside Russia.
The missiles are understood to have hit a Putin command post and military facility, a significant loss.
Russian authorities have not yet confirmed losses which would be heavy for both Russia and North Korea.
Moscow also threatened that Ukraine's use of NATO-supplied missiles meant Putin could legitimately retaliate with nuclear missiles.
