European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has openly expressed her joy over Viktor Orbán's defeat in the parliamentary elections in Hungary.
Von der Leyen declared that "the heart of Europe is beating stronger in Hungary tonight," in a post on the social network 'X'. She added that the Hungarian people have finally chosen Europe and this will make the EU stronger than ever.
Von der Leyen added that Hungary's return to the European path is good news.
