The Milan prosecutor's office has launched investigations into the "Sarajevo Safari" case.
Journalist Domagor Margetic, speaking live from Croatia, said there is evidence that Vučić was involved in crimes at the Jewish cemetery in Sarajevo.
Margetic further added that Vučić went as a volunteer soldier in the 90s and even confirmed this in interviews with the media of the time.
" The war crimes cases I have investigated before and fewer facts are enough to convict Vučić. We have a lot of evidence linking Vučić to the human safari in Sarajevo, he was there in 1992."
His political father has said in two of his statements that he was a volunteer soldier and was at the cemetery. In '92, journalists met Vučić at the Jewish cemetery and he himself gave an interview in 1994 for the newspaper Duka in Belgrade. He said that when the war started, he went as a volunteer soldier and was stationed at the Jewish cemetery in Sarajevo.
"Vučić was there when people's safaris were organized and he was in an exclusive position ," said Margetic.
