Lobbying 6 million USD for the removal of the "non grata"; Berisha

Tropojani Nuredin Seci, former athlete and old friend of Berisha, becomes the financial guarantor of the DP for the lobbying contract in the USA. Similar case with Agron Neza (also from Tropojan), Rama's money courier for McGonigal. SPAK is silent!

For months, former Prime Minister Sali Berisha has been trying to convince public opinion and his supporters that the “non grata” by the US Department of State (DASH) is an unjust decision, which he claimed to be legally contesting, without engaging in any financial lobbying. But the reality is quite different.

After sensational statements that the "non grata" had been "de facto" removed and would be made official after the May 11 elections, a 6 million USD contract was revealed, signed by the Secretary General of the Democratic Party, Flamur Noka, with the American lobbying company "Continental Strategy", to remove the heavy stigma that weighs on Berisha.

In this contract, the financial guarantor is Nuredin Elez Seci, a 72-year-old Tropoja resident, former head of sports at the Tropoja Executive Committee until 1992, currently residing in New York. He has assumed responsibility for collecting and paying the millionaire lobbying, which provides for monthly payments of 250 thousand dollars for a 24-month period.

In fact, on April 24, 2025, the day the contract was signed by Flamur Noka, the advance payment of 750 thousand USD for the first three months was paid. This financial move puts Berisha before a public question that demands an immediate answer: Where did he get this money?

If the money was paid by Tropoja businessman Nuredin Seci, then he too must explain the origin of the 6 million dollars he took on to save the "political father" of Tropoja.

Ironically, this case brings back memories of another lobbying scandal, that of Agron Neza, also from Tropoja, who was used by Prime Minister Edi Rama to bribe former FBI official Charles McGonigal. Coincidentally or not, both of these lobbyists have been declared “Honorary Citizens” (as seen in the photo) by Rexhë Byberi, the socialist mayor of Tropoja, currently under house arrest for financial abuse.

Since this scandal has already been published with concrete documents and contracts, it is up to SPAK to act. But, so far, the new Albanian judiciary continues its silence, leaving Albanian politicians free to use dubious money to buy international influence. / Pamphlet
