Montenegro has "buried" former president Djukanovic as far as the "Pandora Papers" scandal is concerned, while Meta and Berisha, who have the assets of the square, roam free...
The countdown begins for the former president of Montenegro, Milo Djukanovic. The Special Prosecutor's Office has launched investigations against him for the famous "Pandora Papers" scandal, where it is suspected that Junakovic and his son Blazh have hidden money in tax havens.
The institution headed by Vladimir Novović received testimony and data from international partners about the transactions of the two Djukanovićs.
The prosecution has received evidence and information from the judicial authorities of Great Britain and Switzerland, as well as data from foreign commercial banks.
" In the criminal case that you label as "Pandora Papers", the investigation is underway and the special prosecutor has collected information from M. Đ., B. Đ. and V. Ć. M., but also some testimonies and data from the competent judicial bodies of Great Britain and Switzerland, in the procedure of international legal assistance in criminal cases, as well as certain data from commercial banks, through Interpol. The collected material is being reviewed with the aim of planning further work on the case and making a decision ", the prosecutor's spokesperson Vukas Radonjič replied to "Vijesta".
In early October 2021, the Special State Prosecutor's Office opened an investigation into the fact that former president Djukanovic and his son Blazho had concluded secret contracts abroad for the management of their wealth and then announced that they would undertake "all measures and actions within their competence to prove the facts and circumstances".
The son of the head of state, according to the documentation and claims of MANS (Network for the Affirmation of the Non-Governmental Sector), has also created two hidden companies with subsidiaries in London and Montenegro.
In the documentation of the leading law office in Panama "Alcogal", MANS found certified copies of the contract for the establishment of trusts that the father and son entered into on June 21, 2012 with the registered company "CM Skye 2 (PTC) Limited" in the Virgin Islands . The trusts are established for a period of 80 years and the company that manages them is authorized to buy and sell real estate and companies in the name of Djukanovic, open new companies and current accounts, give and receive loans and carry out duties various others.
But the opening of Pandora's Box by Montenegro should be a message for the Albanian prosecution. We have two former presidents who have been accused over the years of stealing from Albanians and they still "make the law" today. We are talking about Meta and Berisha, who own the assets of the square. One has enriched children to alarming levels. The other has the wealth of sheikhs, but the prosecution will not be able to reach them. They are said to be investigating for over 2 years, but no one is ending up in the dock. It is enough for SPAK to follow the example of Montenegrin colleagues./ Pamphlet
