From the data published by "Pamphlet" all these days, it is clear that politics lives in luxury. But why is no one investigated for these suspicious properties and assets?
Albanian politicians can enter without fear among the richest people, not only in the country, but in the region and Europe.
" Pamphlet " has been publishing details of the assets of ministers, deputies, the prime minister and other political figures for several weeks. What stands out is that almost all of them have high wealth. Those MPs who are like all other citizens can be counted on the fingers of their hands, since even though they only declare their salary, they have several apartments, garages, shops, etc. We have nothing to say about the ministers, as they all float on money.
In the data published by " Pamphlet ", it appears that Prime Minister Rama has only declared his salary, but his wife and son have bought apartments. Also, the boy has declared large sums from the art he makes.
Sali Berisha also has only his salary, but his children have declared millions. Both the son and daughter have declared large sums of money.
Monika Kryemadhi and Ilir Meta continue to sell real estate and enjoy luxury. Basha's wife received a floor of the building as a gift and several apartments and garages. We have ministers with luxury cars, shares, businesses and apartments or garages. We also have MPs who have many sources of income.
The question we all ask is: Where does all this wealth come from? How is it possible that MPs and ministers who only declare their salary have apartments, garages, olive groves, properties, luxury cars, etc.? There are those who sell and buy properties every year, playing with the prices.
When the reform in justice started, the internationals asked only one thing from justice: "Follow the money". So, if you follow wealth, you will later discover the affairs that have brought this luxury.
So to be simpler, how is it possible that until today no politician has been punished for hiding wealth? How is it possible that even those who have been investigated have given him peace?
First, it should be noted that how long Shkëlqim Ganaj was in charge of the ILDKP, there were many criminal charges against deputies, ministers, mayors, etc. We can say that, for example, names such as Alfred Peza or Ervin Bushati, MPs of the SP at that time, were sued. Ex-ministers such as Ritvan Bode have also been sued. But the prosecutions have closed the files. Everyone gave him peace.
But since Evgjeni Bashari was placed at the head of the ILDKP, the number of lawsuits also fell. It even turns out that no senior official was sent to SPAK. What makes the situation easier for the citizens is that ILDKP has started to hide the names of the defendants. So a politician has the comfort of interfering with justice because no one knows that he is being investigated.
All these have made the sheikhs of politics enjoy the luxury and not get a thorn in their feet.
This should be an alarm bell for SPAK. Now the policy has made the declarations online and SPAK is easy to access. When Meta, Rama, Berisha, etc., declare wealth of hundreds of thousands of euros, imagine how much it could actually be. The eyes are now on SPAK, after Prime Minister Sanader in Croatia was put in jail for just one expensive watch. Our rulers have millions of euros in wealth and sleep peacefully in their villas. / Pamphlet
