Usually, parts of the gray electorate, who do not agree with the extremist clash, do not go to the elections, but this time, it seems that the situation is more dramatic than that. Neither in the monist elections of 2019, where there were many absences from the left-wing electorate, nor in those of 2021 was such a large number of socialist voters absent. Precisely for this reason, Edi Rama has asked for memberships to be made and to approach a part of the electorate that has usually voted for the opposition, but that can be offered with clientelistic methods.
Erion Veliaj is the only one who started this process without being inaugurated by Rama himself, who declared that he will be the one who will open the campaign of new memberships in the Durrës region where he is a member of parliament.
This campaign of Veliaj has started without making public yet the divisions of the new political leaders of the districts, which are said to have been changed at the last meeting of the presidency.
Lali's exit shows that he has either received confirmation as the head of Tirana, or is doing this to show that he has no choice but to leave.
While in Tirana, Veliaj has been holding two activities a day for 3 days, the man who is considered as powerful as he is in the SP, Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku has not done any activity in the district he covers, in Dibër.
At the weekend, Balluku posted an event in the Durrës region, as part of her activity as Minister of Energy.

Meanwhile, it is not only Balluku that has not started the activity at the base; neither Blendi Klosi, the General Secretary of the SP, has started his activity in the Vlora region, where he was the political leader. Even two days ago, the Minister of Justice Ulsi Manja appeared there, which was considered as a signal for his departure from Lezha.
Taulant Balla, meanwhile, continues to publish materials from the Fier region where he is a political leader, but mainly it is about the economic sector, and not about the membership campaign.
The same as Balla, Niko Peleshi who is in Korçë at the weekend, did not have such an activity, nor did Elisa Spiropali also in Shkodra, who was attached to Benet Beci's PR for Shkodra's carnivals. Likewise, Majko in Kukës, etc.
Then why is only Veliaj bombarding the opinion with his political activity of new memberships in the SP? It's unbelievable that Veliaj is doing this with his own head, as he didn't even do it the first time, when he spoke in Rrogozhina and Kavaja, and then immediately interrupted.
It is very likely that this is a game of Edi Rama, who wants to give messages to the rest who seem quite unhappy with these moves. As it has opened discussions within the corridors in SP that there could be a race between Belinda Balluk and Arbjan Maznik. He is being talked about as being able to become deputy prime minister, and possibly even a candidate for deputy, and he will have a district to run.
But are all these true?
