Former UN inspector Hans Blix, the same one who warned the world against the invasion of Iraq, today raises his voice again: what the US and Israel seek in Iran is not the banning of a bomb, but the overthrow of a regime. And the overthrow of regimes, as Iraq shows, brings neither peace nor freedom, but chaos.

Hans Blix was there when the West lied to start a war. And today, in 2025, he sees the same pattern: a hated regime, an unstable nuclear program, a few leaders seeking glory, and people burning in their own country.
Iran is the next target, and Netanyahu and Trump only need "suspicions" to start another horror. Like in Iraq. Like with Saddam. Like with the bombs that were never found. And Hans Blix, the former UN inspector, the one who checked every bunker and refrigerator in Baghdad, says again: there is no proof, no reason, but there is a thirst for war.
Netanyahu wants it to consolidate power. Trump wants it to gain attention, maybe a Nobel, maybe a new title for his ego. And while they see headlines, Blix sees victims. Victims like in Iraq, who are still uncounted today.
If history had a memory, today we would read: “Blix, he was right.” But the world has a short memory. History repeats itself. And bombs are the easiest language to hide incompetence, fear, and arrogance.
Iran may be a problem. But war is not the solution. War is the excuse of failed leaders to remain in history. And as Blix says: “Netanyahu seeks fear to remain brave. Trump seeks war to be seen as strong.”
This is politics in 2025. With the rhetoric of 2003. With new weapons. But with more dangerous people. Blix, not bombs: protesters once wrote. But who listens today, when the war cry is covered up with propaganda and hot news?
History is repeating itself. And catastrophe is on the verge. Only the names are different. The bombs remain the same./ Pamphlet
