The Constitutional Court's decision suspending the local elections in Tirana has practically thwarted Edi Rama's plan, also extinguishing the electoral illusion of Ogerta Manastirliu, who now remains a colorless figure.
This is a decision that turns the political game upside down, removing the prime minister's right to 'make the election rain or shine'. A signal that five municipalities can no longer go to the polls, just to concoct an electoral farce that would serve to create the idea of a general battle.
In reality, in all the municipalities where mayors have left or become deputies on Rama's orders, there has been no competition, but scenarios designed to produce an illusion of pluralism. The only real battle is in Tirana, and it is not between Ogerta Manastirliu and Florian Binaj, but between Edi Rama and Erion Veliaj. A deep political confrontation, which is being consumed in institutions, not in campaigns.
Rama, in his fourth term and with absolute power, has received a blow that has brought him down "seven feet under the ground", from an opponent who is in prison and in solitary confinement like Erion Veliaj.
Essentially, this is no longer a personal clash, but a battle that is being led by an international legal and political team, which is leading Veliaj towards a genuine legal war, in the Constitutional Court and in Strasbourg.
The cancellation of the elections in Tirana has destroyed Rama's scheme, stripping him of any control over the process. The Prime Minister did not wait for legal decisions, but decided to act on his own, dismissing and replacing mayors in a forced manner, an action that exposes him as the author of a politically motivated and unconstitutional process.
In fact, Rama has clearly lost this battle. But this should serve as a moment of reflection for the opposition, which can turn the Rama-Veliaj crisis into a real opportunity to produce a credible political alternative.
The Constitutional Court's decision is a signal that change is possible, but not through the old faces and mannequins of politics.

Unë mendoj dhe pothuaj jam i sigurt që vendimin e kushtetueses e ka dirigjuar vetë Rama Ai e kuptoi se me kandidaturën e opozitës e përzgjedhura e tij do njihte humbje të padiskutueshme. Humbje e Tiranës absolutisht është defakto humbje e PS dhe veçanërisht e vetë Romës. Ndaj zgjedhjet duhen anuluar deri në gjetjen e një skenari fitues.
Rama e ka "paketuar" politikisht Veliajn. Çështja e kushtetueses është faji i Begajt që dekretoi zgjedhjwt në Tiranë pa pasur vendimin e GJK. Por kjo nuk ndryshon faktin se GJK do shprehet se Erion Veliaj është shkarkuar sipas ligjit. Dhe kështu zgjedhjet do bëhen por sigurisht pas 9 nëntorit në një moment tjetër. Për sa i përket opozitës, më saktë PD, për sa kohë do jetë peng e S.Berishës, do marrë gjithmonë e më pak vota, janë yë mabruar politikisht, manekinët politikë nuk hyjmë në punë për fitore. Por kjo ka pak rëndlsi për Saliun, se atij i duhet partia për intwresa personale, familjare. E kanë të keqen në krye të partisë, peshku qelbet nga koka.
Aman per shans qe ka opozita me ato emra qe ka… Edi mund edhe te dhjese e prape nuk e fjen gje se nuk e do populli ate opozite lebroze, injorante, te paafte, dembele, hajdute, pa vizion…
Keto zgjedhje qe priten ne TR, do jene zgjedhjet me surprize ne 35 vjet. Do jete fillimi i fundit te Edi Rames. Njerezit jane te pakenaqur, sidomos ne Tirane. Katastrofe urbane e bere sidomos me doren e Rames. Tirana eshte e asfiksuar nga pluhuri, plerat trafiku betoni zhurma akustike. Kjo vote do jete masivisht kunder kesaj qeverie qe po e zhyt kete vend gjithnje e me thelle, po e varferon kete popull me shpejtesi gjithnje e me shume. Aktualisht Tirana eshte vend me i shtrenjte se Athina, se Sofja, se Varshava , se bukureshti qe jane dhe anetarebte BE. Nafta jashte cdo standarti te BE blihet me 1.92 eu/ lit. Me shtrenjt se ne Gjermani dhe Zvicer madje. Vote nuk eshte ceshtje inati, por ceshtje ndergjegjesimi dhe dinjiteti. Nje qeveri duhet te meritoj votebesim jo per oppziten e dobet, por per punet e mira dhe rezultatet e arritura. Nje kryeminister turist i papergjegjshem. Atehere cme duhet opozita mua, mua me duhet ndryshimi. Korrupsion kudo, administrate e kalbur. Drejtore qe bejne rrokade me njeri tjetrin batakcinj hajna kurvare dhe homoseksuale. Mjaft se na i shpifet! Jemi per ti kerkuar llogari qeverise jo ti japim pushtet pakufi. Rshte perqendrua gjithe pasuria e ketij populli ne duart e 100 veteve dhe te tjeret keq e me keq. Une pres qe ky kryemin te mbroj interesat e shumices, jo te nje cete qe realisht ne rradhe te pare per te vete. Te gjithe ndertuesit kryesore , punojne per te pastrojne oaratr e tij, lavazhojne parate e piste. Dhe njerezit thone opozita. Jepja o vella Arlind Qorrit, Adriatik Lapjt, Agron shehajt , vetem jip mesazhin tend.
Pra, GJK nuk eshte ne varesi te Rames. Keshtu qe dhe Gjergji tashme te jete i qete dhe ta beje gjumun top.
Jepini voten Arlind Qorrit. Ka te meta, por nuk eshte i lidhur me asnje nga dy partite e krimi aluzuara.
Nuk voton njeri sot. Qeverine e shpall Amerika dhe Sorrosi, popullin nuk e pyet njeri, tallen. Hajdutet vjedhin me flamurin Amerikan ne dore. Ik o popull futja nji kafe tek lokali i lagjes????????
