Before her, the former director Florenc Spaho was dismissed just two months after taking office. A former MP and doctor by profession, Florenc, with a relatively good reputation, was arrogantly dismissed by the new minister. The reason: he had no intention of signing the files that Koçiu had left to the fish and that Sala had stepped in to guarantee to close. Before Spaho, another doctor, Donjeta Bali, did not last more than 2 months at the helm of the QSUT. Unlike Florenc, Donjeta resigned after a serious argument with the minister, which escalated to insulting the doctor. Before Bali, Alma Cani also did not have a career, neither glorious nor long-lasting, in that institution. She left without honor and with the fear that perhaps someone had slipped her some paperwork for her to sign, without her mind.
So, what is happening at QSUT?
Medical staff and patients say this is the "Curse of the QSUT".
What is also being said for sure in the corridors of this institution is that at least the last 4 directors have refused to sign the handover contracts for two important facilities, built with budget funds, the Cardiology building and the Infantile Psychiatry building. They refuse because the project has deviations from the approved plan and handover means, PRISON.
But how good it would be if this were the only reason! The game being played at the QSUT is very big and if Edi Rama and the new Minister of Health manage to make the macabre plans they have for this sector a reality, it would mark the end of this service for every Albanian.
What is expected is not only abuses with two hospital buildings. Above all, there are two concession contracts that envisage bankrupting the state, and bringing every type of service that Albanians pay for into the circle of the hospital mafia.
More precisely, the official end is expected to occur because QSUT, as the last victim of this regime, has already unofficially died of old age.
That is why the directors of QSUT take the position with great desire and with the hope of making a career out of it, but they leave it very quickly.
Firstly, because they can no longer bear to sign with their eyes closed, and secondly, because no matter how great their appetite, the curse of the QSUT has taken hold of them. It is not for nothing that it was baptized like this.
Because the curse of thousands of cancer patients who cannot receive chemotherapy that doctors give to the private sector to sell; the curse of all the women who heartbrokenly see the advertisements for Edi Rama's concubines in this Pink October, but die without even having the minimum possibility of treatment; of those who cannot have an analysis because they have to pay for it in a private sector; of those thousands of patients who cost their families millions because the hospital does not offer them beds, bread, or medicine; the curse of the billions that are being eaten by Allajbejtë &CO, Janis Karathano&Co, the crime mafia & Co. The curse of all those doctors and nurses who have taken their families and fled, closing their homes and leaving behind lonely old people.
